Briefly describe the components of Path-Goal theory. How can a leader's style affect a follower's motivation?
The Path-Goal theory is the theory that describe that the specific leadership style or behavior helps in aligning with the employee and work environment. This make it easy to achieve the goals effectively. So, the main goal is to increase employees' empowerment, motivation and satisfaction that will make the employees to exhibit the highest level of performance.
Leader select specific behaviors that best suits the situation and needs of the employees. This makes the leader to guide the employees through their path.
