We will discuss about the imbalance of various electrolytes in our body ( calcium, magnesium , phosphorus and chlorine)
Calcium: calcium is needed bone bone formation and also for proper heart functioning and muscle contractions. Increase ( hypercalcemia) or decrease(hypocalcemia) can disrupt the normal functioning of the body.
Magnesium: It helps in production of energy, relaxes skeletal muscle, regulates calcium, and heart contractility. High amounts of magnesium is known as hypermagnesemia and low levels of magnesium is known as hypomagnesemia.
Phosphorus:it plays a important role in the health of the kidneys , bones, muscles and blood vessels as well as each cell in the body. Hyperphosphatemia is in the increase in phosphorus levels in the body and hypophosphatemia is decreased level of phosphorus in the body.
Chlorine It is a an electrolyte which functions with other electrolytes in the body such as sodium and potassium to regulate the amount of fluid and the pH balance in the body. high amounts of electrolytes is known as hyperchloeremia and low levels in the body is known as hypochloeremia.
