In my former job location, I remember the change that was initiated by our senior management team regarding the use of management ERP system where all the tasks and duties regarding the projects would be shared using high tech technology. The reasons the change took place is because of the external technology that has been expotentially increased and the organisation has to adapt to the changes taken place. The internal factors that would bring this change was because many new employees were asking that the technology driven management system should be implemented to make the work more efficient and effective. The external factor that affected the working of this change was because of the adaptation the organisation has to take to implement with the technology driven changed around to compete with the competitors. The senior management team hired a team of professional people outside from the organisation to make the employees of the organisation teach about how the management system would work and how the functions would assigned in this system. A unique id number would be provided to everyone for this purpose. The training was very effective and the communication done through the training was understandable and easy to learn. Many new as well as old employees learned the way how that system would work and how their work has become easier because of it. The employees happily reacted towards the change and accepted it in a comfortable manner. The results after the adaptation of the change were just like the expectations. The working efficiency of the organisation increased with more productivity and effectivity and thus increased in the market share and the profit. The management had a success in communicating the change to the organisation becayse of the effective steps taken by the senior management team to make the change implement and understand by the employees in such a way where the resistance was effectively managed.
