the products and services which offers through web and physical offer the same products. product wise there may not be any variation or differentiation in this regards. Because the producer is the same and produce the same products, but not distinguished these products are for selling online and these products for selling directly or physically. The differentiation only the experience of the customer. If the customer go to a shop and buy a shirt or wallet, he can touch it, he can wear (trial) it and he personally check it. But the same concept is missing in online process. In this, the customer buy a product or service by virtualization only, he can imagine how the product or service to him and go further. So, i can say that there is no differentiation between the products which sells through online or physically.
But these goods do not available at the same price. There is price differenciation in these two different processes, and many reasons for this. If a shop keeper wants to sell a product, he needs to place an order to the producer, the product placed in display, he pay some rent to the shop and godowns, appoint some sales people to maintain the shop and facilitate the customers, his own investment and profit and so on leads to increase the prodcuct price than online. In simple words, the additional costs are hihger in direct or physical sales, where these kind of maintanance cost is not there in online. Hence, the online seller can offer the same product at lesser than a shopkeeper.
as i already said that there is no differentiation in product wise, but kind of approach or style is different. the approach is different from one to another.
