I need a positive replay for this comment without plagirism please:
"I think EHRs are a positive for the medical profession because they provide an electronic database for the institution. All of the information is in one place and the information can be shared easily between doctors, nurses, and staff. This is beneficial because the doctors or nurses do not have to search for the paper files and then physically share them with each other. Instead, each doctor or nurse is able to access the information and not have to follow the paper trail to do so. Also, it is convenient for the EHRs to be at the medical professionals fingertips. Therefore, they are a positive to the medical profession."
For Eample:
"
Kayla,
I definitely agree with you that EMRs are much more positive than they are negative. However, it is unfortunate that we have so many breaches in regards to unauthorized access to personal information. You have some good ideas."
EHR system is designed to save time and effort of medical organizations in processing patient information. Prudent medical organization managers should evaluate all the pros and cons of switching over from a paper-based solution to an EHR system. The Electronic Health Records (EHRs) system has been used by several hospitals now days. This system has full records and data of the patients therefore this system is being most commonly used for the good care of patients. This system has very effective role in the clinical trial study, it reduces the so many bulky paper works. Now days it is very hard to imagine any existing industry that not depends on the computers and some special software to get more effective outputs and results. The same case apply in the healthcare system, several software’s are being used to handle a lot of patients data, regular clinical practice and hospitals creates keeps all the data to all the patients. However all hospitals do not have electronic health records, in such type of hospitals they used some additional facts for the decisions.
There are both aspects of the system pros and cons and we should considers both aspects before applying this system.
Pros
If you are using computerize your records with a certified EHR, you may demonstrate important use and get the financial incentives offered by medicare and Medicaid. Now the government is encouraging EHR usage in the name of efficiency. Further financial incentives from the government are also available through EHR system to document their compliance with value based care initiatives. Particular templates are used for staff members to enter the proper information on patients before closing out the record. You can use portal of the patient with your EHR, which enabling patients to enter their own details instead of having them write it on a stack of documents to be typed in later by your staff.
Cons of Electronic Health Records
Whenever you are dealing with computerize records, you have to be careful about protecting the data from unauthorized access in the system. An extreme diligence is required to protect sensitive information and data from cyber criminals and hackers. These aspects can be alleviated if you work with IT professionals to shore up your system with a firewall and other software security protocols. By following a cloud-based EHR system which have greater flexibility, and quick back up and running via the cloud backup. Now most of the doctors are have good knowledge of prudent and cautious about adopting new techniques, wanting evidence and documentation that a new way of doing things which can benefit them and their patients.
There should be limited access to the some special persons in the organizations to handle these information.
