Organisational requirements need to be considered when designing
and formatting the layout of a document:
- Column breaks - Click breaks button from the page setup group
on the page layout tab.
- Bulleted and numbered lists - bullets and numbering buttons in
the Paragraph
- Headers and footers - Click headers and footers on the Insert
tab
- Fields - Date and time button from the insert group on the
Header and Footer tool design
- Spell and Grammer Check - Click on Spelling and Grammer button
in Review Tab
- Style, size of text and consistent font(as per the emphasis
required) - Can be found in Font box in Home tab.
- Borders - Click on Page Borders button on Design tab.
- Indentation - Proper indentation of paragraph and sub-paras
from Paragraph box in Layout Tab.
- Open punctuation style
- Use A4 paper only.
- Fully Blocked Style
- Proofreading
- List of particular words to be included/ excluded( as per
requirement).
