The main concepts that should be considered when designing a pediatric office includes
1. Colorful wall : The wall of the office should be paint with cartoons or colorful pictures that will attract the attention of the children who visit the office and this also will makes the children free from stress.
2. Play room: Separate play room with appropriate toys should be place. Toys should be selected and keep base on each age group.
3. Furnishing
The furnishing used in the office should be free from sharp edges. It is because the child may play with the sharp edges furnisher and may leads to injury.
4. Surfaces
The surface of the office should be always free from wet and should make only with seamless surface. Make sure that the surface clean frequently to prevent spread of infection.
5.Mother breast feeding room
Mother breastfeeding room should be also present in the office. Full privacy should be provided for this room. In this room the lactating mother can go inside and feed the baby.
6.waiting room or space
Waiting room or space should be there. It also should be colorful.
