i. Type II hypersensitivity or antitotoxic reaction of the antibody involves the following EXCEPT
A. is mediated by antibodies such as IgG and IgM.
B. is a toxicotoxicity mediated by complement
C. Causes antibody-mediated body cell dysfunction
D. The body's cytotoxicity is mediated by cells such as antibody-dependent macrophages
E. The production of too many antibodies against the bacterial cells that make up the immune complex.
ii. The function of eosinophils in Type I hypersensitivity
is
A. neutralizes vasoactive factors from cell poles.
B. avoid insects start biting.
C. polar cell degeneration cells.
D. The release of prostaglandins.
E. destroy the larval worm.
Answer 1--A --wrong
type 1 hypersensitivity reaction also called as anaphylatic reaction it is antibody mediated reaction
example --bronchial asthma ,good and pollen allergy allergic rhinitis etc
Pathogenesis-- when antigen enter in body it is revognised by antigen presenting cells
And antigen presenting cell digest it and represent on their surface it is stimulate T helper 2
T helper release interleukin 4 which stimulate release of IgE antibody
and also release interleukin 5 which recruitment of eosinophils
On first expisure mast cell sensitize for the antigen
further exposure..polymerisation and degranulation of mast cell
Occur early phase reaction--due to preformed mediators
, histamin which cause vasodilation and brochial muscle
contraction
On late phase reaction--cytokine leukokine chemokine release and causes tissue distruction and epithelial damage
Answer 2-- eosinophil stimulate to release of prostaglandin
histamin chemokine leukotriens
