Air pollution due to traffic jams :
The major issue that people in urban area face is the prolonged traffic jams, which happen due to various reasons .During this period many drivers don’t switch off the vehicle dude to slow movements of the traffic this leads to burning of a lot fuel along with emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere. As the vehicles in the urban areas increases this problem is also increasing.
Thus, whenever there is traffic congesiton nearby school it will create a lot of air pollution causing impact on childrens.
Noice pollution due to traffic jam:
Generally due restless peoples driving vehicles and their urge for work burps the horns and sudden stoppage and slow traffic with engine sounds make a lot of noise.
According to Forns et al. 2016, Traffic congestion has impact on air quality and cause both air and noise pollution causing illeffects on students.
