How will exacerbation of Jim’s COPD affect his quality of life? What about other quality issues like showering himself, walking around, doing work etc?

A person who is experiencing COPD for a long time duration, progressive damage to their lungs .this affects a lot airflow to the lungs . Sometimes copd person can experience thses symptoms more worsen than usual.This is called exacerbation. It can be harmful because it can cause further more damage to the lungs. These exacerbation has bad effect on his quality not life because this prevents them to do more physical work ,their job and daily routine things also.when person with COPD do some physical activity it causes shortness of breath and difficulty in breathing.due to this inspite of being eligible for any work ,he can't do that work due to illness and entitled to Statutory Sick Pay from employer.this affect the patient fininecally and also mentally. because he is not able to do work he can be depressed also .thus if affects badly the quality of life of the person.
