Personal ethics
An individual’s personal ethics is his or her beliefs on what is morally right and wrong. These ethics govern their behavior and interactions. Personal ethics and principles differ from person to person. Personal ethics are important in all areas of life—for personal growth, for maintaining healthy relationships, and for managing finances.
Academic ethics
Members of an academic institution or a community should incorporate moral principles in their academic work. Fairness, commitment, and integrity are all necessary to maintain good ethical standards. Academic misconduct, plagiarism, cheating, etc impede the growth of an individual.
Professional ethics
This includes ethics that must be adhered to in workplaces at all times. Good professional ethics are very important when working in teams. It helps people make good interactions and succeed in business dealings. Professional ethics include some principles of personal ethics such as fairness, loyalty, and honesty. It is important for career growth as good ethics help maintain good relationships with collegues and managers.
