Can ethics Satisfy Basic Human Needs in an organization ?

Ethics is considered as one integral part of the development of the organization. We need to distinguish between individual ethics and business ethics. The behavioural choices facing individuals and organizations are different, and the criteria against which we judge those actions may also be different. We must explore questions of individual and business ethics using a three-level framework which includes the ethics of the individual manager, the organization’s ethical stance, and the organization’s approach to corporate social responsibility.
The training and development programmes must be very effective. Social learning theory must be applied and a role model displayed during training. Apart from imparting job related training, it must also enrich value system, adapt a way of life, new life concept and develop a total ethics based approach to life. A manager can motivate a employee considering the work ethics of an orgnization. Human needs can be satisfied to a certain extent in the junior management levels. This csn also result in improved performnce of the employee.
