I learned about many valuable concepts of human resources and how focusing on developing a competent human resource helps a company in being successful in the industry for a long time.
I learned the different methods of managing the workforce, designing the jobs, the employment and benefits program helps in developing a highly skilled and competent workforce that is prepared for unforeseen future challenges.
The most valuable concept in this class was the different methods which could help in increasing the motivating of the employees and how motivated staff can become a key to increase efficiency and productivity. Methods such as monetary rewards in terms of salary raise and bonuses to non-monetary rewards such as providing a free and open working environment, acknowledging the good work of the employees helps in motivating them to become more efficient and productvie.
Though the class was highly ebenfiical, i would advise the trained to include more class discussions into the course as it helps in affirming what we learned through a learned discssuion on the subject and helps in understanding many concepts in an easier manner.
