Description:
The Reflection Question asks you to" discuss what you have learned about human rights in the international context. Include thoughts on any country or a society that has or does not have human rights issues." If I am asked to answer this question, I will start from the fact that no state or society observes human rights to the letter. For instance, the U.S. claims to be the world policeman for human rights but at the same time one of the worst abusers. (2) Women and children suffer most human rights abuses. (3) The western world, as a whole, has abused the human rights of people around the world than any other group. They only started to think about an International Human Rights law after the First and Second World Wars/ ETC.
The human rights was declared by UNO on 10th December,1948 in the universal declaration of human rights. It foccusses on to unite the people and to protect their rights in the world. But now it is the challenging task to the world to achieve its goal. every time and everywhere the dignity of the individual is questioning. with the diversified beliefs, perspectives in the world we the people should play a strong role in protection of human rights. ,But unfortunately many countries now a days are not implementing the aims of human rights. no country is fallowing a complete implentation ,but comprmising in many issues because of political, social, economic challenges.always giving strong statement of protection but not in implicatioins. as we know the US faced international condemnation when it quit from the HRcouncil. In many countries we see violation against women, illtreatment basing on religion, gender, caste.women rights are not giving importance even though we are celebrating HumanRights Day every year.
