Process innovation is one of the three kinds of the innovation that organizations process to increase efficiency of its value chain.This is the phenomenon which involves putting up new and innovative ideas at all the stages of process to make value chain more effective efficient.

There can be different approaches for implementation of innovation process stages like Design thinking in process innovation or Distruptive thinking in innovation process-

Innovation process through Design thinking- It has four stages- 1.Inventing future 2.Prototype development 3.Testing 4.Implementation

1. At first stage, current situation is analyzed and finding out the need of the people and the market that doesn't exist in present.

2.At the stage of prototype development, channel of activities is to be chosen.

3.Testing involves collecting feedback about the formatted process from the users and adaptability of new changes if required.

4.Implementation involves, replicating the formatted process on the organizational level with greater assertiveness.

Benefits- It increases profitability by increasing efficiency of value chain.

It reduces unit costs as well as time taken in the process.

It provides more added value.
