Common Problem of motors failure:
- Over and under-Lubrication – It’s necessary to
lubricate motors properly, there’s more to it than just how much
lubricant you’re putting on and consider the amount of lubrication,
the kind of lubrication.
- Dust and contaminants: Exposure to dust and
pollutants can cause damage within motor part and lead to
functions.
- High Temperature and Heat: The most possible
reason for motors functions also read the generation of extra heat
and a rise of few degrees can cause over time.
- Excessive Humidity and Exposure to Moisture:
Moisture can damage insulation and varnish in any kind of
electrical components and can be extreme in case of motors.
Points to find problem in motors of the vacuum
cleaner:
- Firstly, check the power switch for continuity to ensure that
motor is getting power.
- Lack of power can be also a reason of motor failure, a bad
power cord and broken wire in the vacuum hose.
- A torn hose can cause a break in wires-interrupting current
travelling through the hose to the suction motor relay.
- If the hose is damaged replace it because wire inside the hose
are could be broken.
- Motor unit can be also dead in to be replaced if vacuum hear a
click at the vacuum unit when you try to start.
- Dirty or blocked filters can also cause a loss of suction.
- Holes or rips in vacuum cleaner’s hose can greatly reduce
suction
Some common problem of vacuum cleaners but easy to
fix:
- If vacuum cleaner loses suction, the first thing to check
whether the bag is full. If it is then simply replace it.
- Gaps in air flow can be easily fixed by replacing hose and
check the connection between hose and base unit.
- If vacuum cleaner has a burning smell, first turn off and check
cable, plug , wall socket, hot cable/plug and rotary brush and
identify the problem and fix it.
- Damage vacuum cleaner cord could be the cause of issue , first
check the cord is properly connected to the vacuum cleaner and that
there're no splits in the rubber. If the cord is damaged the
replace it.
