The different learning styles of a student are-
Spatial - Visual style where a child learns by pictures and images. A teacher can use whiteboard, drawing and doodling while teaching such type of child.
Auditory or Aural- This style includes music and sound as a tool and it is for students who have good sense of rhythm. These learners become singers or play instruments well. Teachers can use audio lectures and oral presentations for such learners.
Kinesthetic Learner- this style of learning requires physical touch. Students learn by gestures or moving their body parts. teachers can give written work, involve games and sport activities while teaching students. Experiments can also be done for better learning.
Linguistic (verbal)- This style uses more words and vocabulary. they like to express them and learn to read a lot of books and literature. Using extempore, speeches, oral recitation are the ways to teach these kinds of learners.
Mathematical- Logical style of learning where students learn through reasoning and numbers. Giving them complex problems, puzzles , strategies, computer programming are the best ways to teach them.
Interpersonal- These type of learners are social learners and involve interaction with people to learn. hey opt for group studies and activities like group discussions , debate are used to teach them. Involving them in social clubs is also good for them.
Intrapersonal - Solidarity style where students learn alone and
through self study. These kids are independent and are self aware
of their strength and emotions. Encouraging such students to write
diary, journals , blogs and giving them specific targets will help
the child to develop.
