Psychology of Personality!!!!!!! Can you tell someone's personality via social media, why and how? Can you tell someone's personality by the way they dress, how and why?

1) Social Media is a useful tool for nowadays. People are addicted towards this media. They all are sharing their daily updates with so many people though the social media.

We can assume someone’s personality by their social media profiles. While these profiles don’t reflect their personality pattern truly but sometimes their social media’s post does. Social media posts can give a overview of someone’s personality traits.

Some researchers have found social media updates can assume following traits of someone. Such as

• Extraversion
• Introversion
• Agreeableness
• Narcissism

These following traits can be assumed by the regular updates of social medias. Researchers have found that, we can create a conclusion about the causes behind of these posts. Whether these posts are used for getting attention and acceptance, or these posts are an outlet of self-realization. So we can conclude that yes, we can tell about someone’s personality by analyzing her or his social media updates. Because these update reflects their personality traits, Self-esteem and preferences. Not only that, sometimes we share a post in social media to express our hidden or suppressed feelings.    

2) According to researchers, our dressing is kind of a reflection of our personality but that does not mean that we can assume the whole personality of someone by their dressing sense. Our dressing sense can reflect our liking, disliking and preferences. Not only that, sometimes we judge someone by their Outlook. Such as if a man is properly dressed with his costly suit and expensive trouser. We make a judgment that he is a perfectionist. So we can say that we can assume someone’s personality by using some stereotypes about their dressing. Our dress reflects our personality by its color, shape and level of brightness.

Such as- If we see a Woman with professional dress up we starts to assume that she is very careerist in nature and we also start assuming her personality pattern as an Extrovert.
