Evaluation process is a way to critically examine a program, an individual or firm. Its purpose is to make judgments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Control process- is a process which involves establishment of standards, measurement of performance, compare performance and taking corrective actions.
Evaluation and control process can be appropriate for the individual or firm that emphasizes creativity. For example Google it is a creative place to work for employees and it emphasize at lot on creativity, it also evaluate its own and its employees’ performance time to time and put control over resources (human resources, financial resources, etc.). Some experts thought that creativity brings indiscipline and un-controllability, so if this is the situation then firm or an individual not able to do something great. For example artists they are creative person but they are disciplines as well and timely evaluate one-self to do much better and get more creative ideas. So, for better performance it is appropriate for firm and an individual to evaluate and control their creativity. Some experts believe that creative person do not like control over him or her. Control makes them vulnerable and they are not able think something creative, but it is not true. For example dancers are creative persons but they like to be controlled by their mentors and they are also self-disciplined.
Control and creativity are compatible with each other. Creativity can develop perfectly in the presence of control. Control may trigger a person to remain creative. For example artists they are creative as well as they are self-disciplined; film actors they are creative and they are self-controlled they take healthy diet, do lots of work-out to be fit and healthy, nobody like movie actors which do not have perfect body, appropriate body language with talent. So, control and creativity complement each other, and both are required for an individual or firm to remain competitive or to gain competitive advantage.
