The game;-

Soccer is also known as the football game which is played between 2 teams and both the teams include 11 players each while playing in the ground. The game is played by a ball which is spherical, upon a rectangular ground which is divided into two parts and each end of this ground has a goal on it. a player or a team scores a goal when one hits the ball into the goal of the opponents part by passing and moving the ball from one player to the another using their feet. The game was discovered in 1863 and its rule and laws were laid by England ( the football association ). earlier the ball was made up of leather but now in the modern time the ball is synthetic. At the end of the game the team which has scored the maximum goals wins or if both the teams are on the same number of goals then the match is declared a draw, in that case, either a penalty goal is given to both the teams or extra time is given. this association is governed by FIFA which holds world cups for this game in every 4 years, this game has teams for both male and females.

The rules;-

The rules of the game were codified by England in 1863, each team has a goalkeeper who has the sole power to touch the ball by his hands and no other player can touch the ball with the hands. each team has a captain who represents his team and takes part in the coin toss or penalty kicks. the players in this game wear shirt, socks, shoes, and guards and nothing else. there are also presents substitutions excluding the 11 players the substitutions are there if any player gets an injury. The game is controlled by the referee and also started by him who time to time controls the players from misbehaving or breaking the rules in the game, the pitch should be in rectangular shape and not in square shape. a football match usually has two intervals of 45 minutes each. If a player in the game misbehaves or breaks the rules which are codified or pushes or injures the other player he is then punished by the referee. the referee shows cards in this match the yellow card is for giving a warning and the red card is for dismissal.
