Do you agree with Hobbes argument that we must leave the state of nature and create a social contract?

Yes, I truly believe with the concept of Hobbes. This is because , basically all human beings are selfish and every act done by a human being is to satisfy his needs and not anyone else. Man is super egoistic by nature and hence the state of nature will only create barbaric brutality between people without peace. That would definitely lead to the survival of people who are physically more strong and cunning. People who are physically weak and innocent would ultimately perish. Following this , battle would happen between the supreme ones for resources which would finally lead to human extinction from the face of earth.

On the other hand, if a governing body in the form of social contract exists, battle may happen between people but governing body will try its best to overcome the same by introducing laws were all human beings are treated equally irrespective of any factor such as physical strength, race , gender etc. Thus social contract would be a better option than complete liberation or state of nature.
