American culture can be very difficult and many times frustrating for many international students who go for education or on the purpose of a job. American culture customs and values might be very different from those of other home countries and for other people their culture is more confusing. probably the other people must familiarise themselves with American culture before their departure in order to make the transition as easy as possible. the values of American culture are totally different from other countries' cultures.

Americans strongly believe in the concept of individualism. consider themselves to be separate individuals who are in control of their own lives rather than members of a close- knit, interdependent family, religious group, tribe Nation or other group. generally they don't give much importance to the family that is husband for the children they want themselves to be individual and lead a life of their own.

the American declaration of independence states that are created equally and this belief is deeply embedded in their cultural values. Americans Believe that all people are of equal Standing and are therefore comfortable with overt this place of respect such as being about to.the Americans generally don't give respect to the elders teachers or any other superior in front of them they feel themselves that they are equal and they never show respect to to others.

The belief in equality causes Americans to be rather informal in their behaviour towards other people. Generally in America even the store clerks and waiters introduce themselves by their first names. Many people visiting the US are surprised by the informality of American speech, dress and posters. it is not that the Americans will be rude in their behaviour ,the Americans are very good in nature and they speak very politely and happily with everybody it is just a part of their culture.

Americans tend to value frankness and openness in their dealing with other people. they believe that conflicts and disagreements are best solved by means of forthright decision among the people involved. American belief that if someone has a problem with someone else, they should tell the person clearly and directly in order to come up with a solution to the problem

American culture the individual value gets prominence then the family values in India families are given more value where as the Americans are more committed to themselves only
