There are different types of class in the society. We find that the classes are merged or expanded in different ways. According to the conflict theory by Marx it is said that there are two types of class - bourgeoisie class and proletariat class. He merges the class on the basis of economic status. In the bourgeoisie class he points out that the capitalists are merged and form a class. There is no difference on the basis of race and religion. In the proletariat class there are all types of working people who sell their labour for money. The bourgeoisie class exploits the proletariat.
Again the merging for expansion of the class appears in the field of religion and ethnicity. Any individual identifies himself from religious points of view. Again he can identify himself on the basis of race. In this respect all the African Americans belong to the same class. Again class can be merged or formed on the basis of ethnicity. To the Americans there is a separate class of Asians on the basis of ethnicity.
In the merging of the class we find that all of the people of the class deer same mentality and there are many similarities. All the African Americans feel themselves different from the white people and dear some page rises. Again in the white people we also find the racial prejudice against the black people. In respect of the class on the basis of religion we find that the members of the particular religious group find cultural similarities among themselves and It helps them to be united. An African American capitalist faces conflict in the same class as on the economic decision he belongs to the bourgeoisie class and on the basis of race he belongs to the class of the black people.
