"Social construction" as the name is suggesting itself that it is something that has been created socially and has been accepted socially. It can be be defined as an idea which has been created, developed and accepted by the people of society.
Social Construct is neither inhereted nor it is developed naturally, it is developed according to society with the passage of time. Caste system can be taken as example of social construct. When a newborn comes to this world, he/she remains unaware of the system of society. As he/she grows they face new challanges each and every day.
They start developing their thinking according to the behaviour of other people towards them. If people surrounding him/her provide respectful treatment then a sense of respect and honour is being developed. In opposite case he/she starts feeling dejected and low.
People like company of alike. Any person who lives in a company of different-2 personalities, then a sense of uneasiness takes birth. People start making group with same minded people. In this way, various groups comes into existance. Each group has its own thinking and ideologies. All these creates diversity in society and a hierarchy is being developed in society.
