One of the most important social problems is the racial discriminations that causes many other problems such as, unemployment, poverty, gang crimes, drug use etc. Secondly, the increasing level of drug use that makes the nation sick and mentally unstable which also causes more to the government in terms of treatment and social security measures. Thirdly, teenage pregnancy which is caused by the individualistic and pleasure centered lifestyle of the American culture. This would mean that many unwanted children would mean many other social problems in the future.

In my opinion, discrimination, based race is one of the most important reasons why America ahs stopped progressing. This would mean that the resources and opportunities are allocated more for the majority race while they also enjoy an accumulated advantage which forces the minority races to fear their own existence. Apart from the discrimination, there is also a new cry from some white people that they want a separate white nation and that others should get back to their own countries without understanding that the owners of America is only the Native Indians and all others are settlers except the fact that the white people have majority. If this discrimination is eliminated many other issues would be eliminated and the society would become a better place to live.
