There are different cultural dimensions for the country of China. The first cultural dimension is the power distance in the country of China and of that, the country scores 80. It means that there is a huge importance given to the power structure and it is a vertical hierarchy that is followed mostly in the country of China. The second cultural dimension is individualism that achieves low score in China. It means that there is a high value upon collectivism, team culture and family values in China. The third cultural dimension is masculinity that has the score of 66 in China. It means that China has more significance for strategic direction, rationality and more importance to male dominance in their culture.  The fourth cultural dimension that scores 30 in China. So, China is the country that has the culture that prefers pragmatism and does not bind strongly with the past cultural traditions. The fifth dimension is a long term orientation that scores 87. It means that Chinese culture relies upon situational based facts, time driven rulings and pragmatism. It means that the law is important, depending upon the time and context of the situation. Finally, it is indulgence as a cultural dimension that scores 24. A low score means Chinese societies and culture, do not promote leisure time spending and a sense of gratitude to the higher extent. It is a restrained culture, not full of optimism all the time in the country of China.

The first characteristic  of cultural intelligence in China, is to build harmony in relations that can influence people in positive and cordial ways. It works in organizational culture as well as dealing with the consumers. The second characteristic is to build  a team based culture where individuals contribute and complement each other. It is the cultural intelligence, very popular in China and Chinese societies. The third characteristics is the long term relations and loyalty to be developed. It means that Chinese cultural intelligence thrives on strong bonding and working for each other to achieve success and prosper. The fourth characteristics is hard work and devotion with less preference over the leisure time. It makes MNCs to reward workers for their hard work and plan incentives so that the Chinese workforce can work more, produce more as well as earn more. It is the reason behind China, being one of the largest exporter of many types of goods.

Cultural intelligence impact the success in a way that it helps adapt the techniques, plan and methods that suit more to the colleagues and other workers in other countries. Here, adjustment in communication is based upon the cultural intelligence of that particular country. It means that what is more successful in countries like Canada, many not work for Japan and there is a need of adaptation of different level for Japan. So, cultural intelligence is used to find new ways, respect local cultural values and adapt do that people in other countries recognize and perceive it well, get emotional support and build effective communication. It brings success.
