How racism impacts society in general? Please be specific.

Racism has negative impact on society because it's a discrimination on the basis of gender, color, ethnicity, caste, class etc. It's a mentality of people to underestimate other people. We all are human and created by one God(nature) then why do we judge people on the basis of their color, gender, status, ethnicity. It depicts that people are educated but still have narrow thinking approach.

Racism create prejudice and differences between people as one group or class of people think that they are superior than others. Their have several reforms took place to eradicate the racism from society like suffrage movement, civil right movement, etc. But still today also we can see that racism still exist in our society in different forms.

Many people face too much harassment, criticism due to racism. They have been molested psychologically as well as physically because of discrimination. It also create a sense of fear in the mind of minorities. It's really sad that people judge people on the basis of their color, caste or gender. If wrong have to judge people then we should judge them on the basis of their acts, skills, talent instead of race. Racism divide our society as people one group of people hate other group of people which is not good.
