The least preferred coworker scale helps in identifying whether it is the relation oriented leader or it is a task-oriented leader. This is work as a person needs to choose another person with which he wants to work least in the organization and he has to read him on the scale from 1 to 8. This is to be done with every worker working in your organization. With the help of the least preferred coworker scale, all the ratings will be added and computation will be done. If the rating comes low then the person is having a relationship of task-oriented leader and if the rating comes high then the person is a relationship-oriented leader. This test is crucial and helps the workers and leaders to know with whom they want to work with the organization as it helps them to maintain good relations and motivates each other to perform well for the development of the organization so that they can achieve their organizational goals. Moreover, this type of leadership is very effective in the organization as it includes professional workers who will work together and try to achieve organizational objectives with their efficient teamwork.
