6You want to take a new worker to lunch to find out how they are settling into their job.The person does not speak English as a first language and you are worried that you will not be able to make yourself understood over a meal. How might you adjust own interpersonal communication styles to converse with the person successfully taking cultural diversity and language issues into account? 1 I will interact with my worker in a soft and low pitched voice and will give pause to my sentences as and when it is
required.
2 I will do some research on my workers culture before a lunch with him in order to use a few of example of his culture
in order to convey my message and taking his feedback on the same.
3 I will use few words of my workers langauge in order to put positive impression on him.
4 I will make an eye contact with my worker in order to make him understand that i am giving full attention to him and
the conversation.
5 With the help of my phone i will use translation tool available on internet to comvey my message as and when it is
required.
