Why do so many disorders start in childhood?
So many disorders start in childhood because of a combination of factors, including heredity, biology, psychological trauma, and environmental stress that children receive from its environment and family.
What about the developing brain that can cause peoples perspective and thoughts to become disordered?
In case of developing brains, people's thoughts and perspectives become disordered due to the social learning & adaptations from the society. Mr. Albert Bandura proposed social learning theory and suggested that the behavior, thoughts and personalities of people originate due to their learning from their societies and families. For example, a child who is born to a criminal, the developing brain of the child will see the acts of his criminal father and there are high chances that his thoughts could be higly disordered like his father.
