The causes of nursing shortage ate multifaceted .actually the current shortage we feel nowadays too because corona outbreak situation as a health worker nursing contributions is highly mandatory thing. But most of the hospital nowadays facing this issue. The cause of the current shortage is actually three fold : an aging population, an aging workforce, and a limited supply of new nurses.

Solution for the nursing shortage are

1.use An onboarding program to make new nurses feel welcome .-studies states that community, group cohesion ,nurse autonomy reduces employees turnover among nurses. And nurses have feel a sense of community at work report higher level of job satisfaction .with the onboard program can encourage employee retention.

2.incentivize behavior you want from your nurses.

Provide incentives encourage behavior of nurses to a great extend . Make pay scale double for overtime work it will deminish shortage .

3.invest in long term training and professional development.

Working institution commit to lifelong learning in nurses.

4.convert current nurses into recruiters and compensate for referral.

Offering incentives for referral such as monetary compensation ,can encourage nurses in workforce to bring in other nurses.

5.offer altered schedule to accommodate the personal and professional needs of a patient.
