Expert Solution

Electrophysiologic study which are used in the evaluation of any cardiovascular disease,,,they are discussed below-

1) Chest X-Ray- It is a radiologic imaging test which is used to vizualize the shape, size of the every chember of the heart..By Chest X-Ray we can also assess any abnormal anatomic changes in the heart, that reflects to cardiovascular Disease

2) Electrocardiogram - Electrocardiogram or ECG is a radiologic procedure which is used mainly to detect any deviation of normal heart rhythm..which indicate any type of cardiovascular disease..

3) Echocardiogram - By his radiological imaging test we can assess the abnormal structures & movement of the heart..We can detect any type of atrial or ventricular septal defect, heart chember thickness etc..

4) Apart from these there are some bio-markers which are used to diagnose any cardiovascular disease...For example- Troponin-T, Troponin-I, Myoglobin, C-reactive protien,Homocysteine etc..

ANSWER WITH A GENERAL IDEA/MECHANISM RATIONALE Huntingtin is a disease gene linked to Huntington's disease, a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by loss of striatal neurons. How would you design a peptide that could prohibit the loss of the neurons? Describe your rational for the design of the peptide. In detail: 1. What target sequences would you need to target the peptide to the correct location in the cell. Explain your choice. 2. What other sequences would you need for the peptide...

Max’s Experience I never thought that I would be at risk for cardiovascular disease. For one thing, I’m still young—only 20. For another, I’ve always been pretty healthy. When colds and flu go around, I don’t usually catch them. I have never been a smoker. And also, because I used to play sports in high school, I still thought of myself as active and athletic. But the truth is that after I came to college I wasn’t involved in sports...

Problem 3) A recent study suggests that noise pollution can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. This theory was investigated in a recent study where a random sample of adults who have lived in the same home for at least five years was obtained. The nighttime noise level (decibels) was measured in each home. Also, an index of cardiovascular risk was measured for each person; this index is called an Agatston score, determined with electron-beam computed tomography. An Agatson score...

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (2015), cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of deaths in the United States, equating to about 1 in every 4 deaths, even though CVD is largely preventable. Recently, various studies have shown promise with stem cell therapy treating heart disease. Research stem cell therapy in the treatment of heart disease and the possible promises it has as a therapy.
