Let me give an example of my experience in sales for the retail segment during my internship tenure.

I was given the opportunity to improve the sales of a tier 2 district of India for milk products- specifically Milk, curd, and ghee, during the summer, where in summer the sales drop by a whopping 25% generally due to seasons change, I was given a herculean task of improving the sales by 50% with a team of 8 people to cover 1000 outlets in 2 months of time.

We created a plan in such a way that we divided the territories and created an action plan for the coming stage,s

we divided into three stages

planning phase

execution phase

analysis and improvement phase

during the planning phase, we analyzed and collected data from all our lets and got the exact number of present sales.

Durin the execution phase, we started implementation acquiring new stores and improving the sales in existing stores by studying the territorial strengths and weakness of ours.

during the final phase where the feedback and internal competition within the employees by creating bonuses for extra sales and achieving of targets, And the team got a new boost, were we increased our sales numbers by whopping 28% in 2 months of time, where our competitors struggled to maintain their normal sales, we increased our reach and sales during the 2 months. Ans sales executives were given a new boost with increased effective bonuses and the clear-cut career growth path for them
