Vitamins are vital amine of the body.They have significant role in the body.They are significant nutrients in the body.There are two types of vitamins in the body .

  • Fat soluble vitamins-A,D,E,K.
  • Water solublevitamins-C,B complex.

They have different functions in the body such as antioxidant activities,immunity booster,wound healing,convert energy.

Vitamin A-(Retinoids or carotenoid.)

  • AntiAntioxidant
  • Prevent cell damage.
  • Protect heart,kidney function.
  • Obtaining from leafy vegetables,carrots etc.

Vitamin D( calciferol)

  • Regulate absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
  • Maintain bone health.
  • Directly obtain from sunlight.

Vitamin E(Tocopherol)

  • Lower the risk of Cardiovascular, cancer disease.
  • Antioxidant.
  • Protect cell structures.
  • Support immune system.
  • Prevent inflammation.

Vitamin K.

  • Blood clotting.
  • Bone metabolism.
  • Used for proin synthesis.
