Inhuman body vitamin B3 (niacin) and vitamin D can be synthesize. Vitamin C can be synthesized by some animals. Human body cannot make Vitamin K but the bacteria present in the gut can make vitamin K2 (menaquinone or menatetrenone).
Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
Human being and many animals can synthesise this vitamin in body. In body of human can convert the amino acid tryptophan to vitamin B3. Tryptophan is found in foods rich in protein. This synthesis process takes place in the liver of human bady, which makes 1 mg of vitamin B3 from 60 mg of tryptophan.
Vitamin D
The only vitamin that the human body can make on its own is vitamin D. This is formed by the action of the sun on the skin. When the sunlight falls on the skin turns a compound called 7-dehydrocholesterol into a form of vitamin D called vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
Vitamin C
Most animals can make their own vitamin C, except apes, humans, monkeys, tarsiers, bats, guinea pigs, some birds and some fish. Vitamin C is produced by the kidneys of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, and older bird orders, it is produced by the liver of more recent bird orders and of mammals.
Vitamin K
Human body cannot make vitamin K on its own. The friendly bacteria present in the gut can make vitamin K2 called menaquinone or menatetrenone. If you are taking more antibiotics, the bacteria will destroy by the drug and the Vitamin K production will stop. So doctors suggesting vitamin K also with the antbiotic drugs.
