A coil is wrapped with 291 turns of wire on the perimeter of a square frame of sides 25.3 cm. Each turn has the same area, equal to that of the frame, and the total resistance of the coil is 2.05 Ohm. A uniform magnetic field is turned on perpendicular to the plane of the coil. If the field changes linearly from 0 to -0.0491 Wb/m2 in a time of 1.07 s, find the magnitude of the induced emf in the coil while the ?eld is changing. Answer in units of V

a coil is wrapped with 300 turns of wire on theperimeter of a square(side length =20cm) Each turn has the samearea as the frame, and the total resistance of the coil is 1.5ohms. a uniform magnetic field perpendicular to the plane of thecoil, changes in magnitude at aconstant rate from .50 T to .90 T in2s.

what is the magnitude of the induced emf in the coil while thefield is changing?

No.of truns N = 300

Side length L = 20 cm =0.2 m

Area A = L^ 2= 0.04 m ^ 2

Resistance R = 1.5 ohm

Change in magnetic field dB = 0.9 T -0.5 T = 0.4 T

Time interval dt = 2 s

Induced emf E = NA dB / dt

                        = 2.4 Volt
