The selected project took more time and resources as it was planned to take. The project entangled in a vicious cycle which led us to inflate our estimates and press for more people, just to see the completion dates of our projects slipping more and more into the future. It become difficult to satisfy the needs of project sponsor to see the project in control. Even the duration that were planned to finish early took more time as people just filled the available time with the expansion of work.

CCPM approach is applicable to the project. It will help to figure out the problems in project management due to behavioral realities. This will help to eliminate the student syndrome and Parkinson’s Law problem. This will also help in exploiting the constraints rather than giving unnecessary buffers.

This approach will help in managing the project successfully by eliminating the problem due to constraints and ill allow the project success measurement in a simple and easy way.
