In many countries IKEA has a negative brand image which is creating trouble for operation of the company in different countries. Updating and innovating their product range as well as property advertisement would keep this specific segment low. Changing government laws in different countries are also one of the most important factors which is threatening iKEA as changes in the law directly affects the overall business in the country. DIY has enable people to develop their own products which is also a threat to it as IKEA provide instructions for most of its products. Are people are getting paid higher, they are looking for premium options rather than going for the cost effective products from IKEA.

globe. Walmart is one of the main competitors which is focusing on
