Expert Solution

Yes, specialization of jobs in our society is taking place and indeed it is affecting the education system as well. As a consequence many companies these days are not being an equal opportunity employer and not hiring people if he or she don’t have a proper specification in that domain area. This creates a limitation of the scope of jobs available.

It is not the good things as it will affect the students, professionals in many ways

  1. There will be selective job opportunities.
  2. A large pool of unemployment due to mismatch of skills and job requirement
  3. The education system will get affected as there should be need of more specific and job-related courses
  4. Fresher needs to do a lot of hard work before actually landing in a job

This is a bad thing and it affects the lives of millions. For example, a salesperson who has amazing sales skills used to be a sales guy in an FMCG company gets a denial for the sales job in a Publishing house on the ground that he used to sell FMCG product. This is bad and should not be the case. A salesperson is a salesperson and he can sell a thread to a car to anybody.
