In your opinion, what are the three most important macroeconomic issues of our society today?

The three most important macroeconomic issues of our society today are

1) Poverty/ Unequal distribution of wealth - Poverty is one issue with which the world is struggling since long. We see that while Europe and North American Countries are developed and the people are educated with poverty issue being solved to some extent, we see countries in Africa and some parts of Asia still struggling to resolve this issue. This issue is compounded by how the wealth is distributed with few people holding majority of wealth in the World

2) Geopolitical Tensions - Be it War orTrade Tensions this all add to economic downturn in the economies that they take place. The global growth is highly impacted due to this. We saw economies like Afghanisthan, Iraq etc getting destroyed due to War

3) Global slowdown - The global Economies have not really recovered since the 2008 crisis, with many economies showing their weakness in the post era. Be it the PIIGS Countries Europe, Venezuela due to oil crisis and others. US, Eurozone, Japan are still fighting deflationationary concerns and trying to revive the growth. China is strugling with Trade tensions, Middle East impacted due to Oil Crisis. Recently the CORONA virus has also taken the global population by shock with people in many countries showing positive test results which can have ripple effect on both economy and otherwise
