Every country depends on the other in terms of resources, materials, labor, technology etc. While some come to the destination countries on their own to look for a better life due to various reasons such as, economic prosperity, education etc., there are others who are forced out of their countries because of various other reasons such as, civil war in their homelands, wars, terrorism, natural calamities etc. Not all those who come to another country looking for a better life are able to make it legally but there are many who come illegally. One of the most important reasons why we should admit them into the country as legal citizens is that it would help them get a better life and contribute back to the society. This is because America is a country of settlers and immigration which would mean that everyone has a fair chance to be in this country as long as they are able to contribute to the betterment of the country. Secondly, it’s the responsibility of the developed nations to help those who struggle and fight for their survival in the midst of poverty and unemployment in their own countries. This would mean that almost all the developed countries have caused severe damage to the developing and poor countries in the world by exploiting their resources and markets. Finally, it’s also important from the humanitarian point of view that people who have crossed border do not do so willingly but they do it out of no choice. No one would move to a new place leaving everything one loved behind which would mean that they had this country as the last resort.
