As a healthcare leader, describe how one would distribute power in a manner so as not to create this intense conflict and unequal distribution of control.
A healthcare leader, should distribute power in following manner so as not to create intense conflict and unequal distribution of control:-
(i) leadership should be in a participative manner. All staff
should work for patient's benefits.
(ii) Leader should listen to others so that everyone can reach a
conclusion on what's best to do together.
(iii) The leadership style consists in the behavior adopted by the
leader in order to influence their collaborators, which may be
authoritarian, based on the use of power, or democratic, in which
people have greater freedom to participate in decision
making.
(iv) democratic style is closes to authentic leadership, which
involves all members of the team not only in decision making
processes but in the elaboration and planning of strategies for
work and problem solving.
(v) Authentic leadership is centered on communication as an
instrument to achieve the best results in health.
(vi) listening, respect, strategies for dealing with conflicts.
(vii) All chain should be cooperative besides of their ego of designation.
