Job analysis in terms of its meaning can be described as a detailed and systematic study or review of a particular position or a job in order to determine the optimum and threshold levels of education, skills and experience required. By determining the job analysis it helps us to narrow the criteria for a specific job in search of a person or a employee who can meet those criteria to perform that job as per the standards required. This entire process can be determined as a job analysis activity.
In the capacity as a Health and Wellness manager, we can perform a job analysis to determine the required optimal performance, educational and functional criteria in a healthcare set up and take an assessment in alignment to have a clear understanding of the job position requirement and the available human resources. As a health and wellness manager, we can use the job analysis to educate and train the staff as per the required level of education and training and then provide ample amount of time in that position to get the desired experience. Depending on the implementation of the training an current job functioning we can use the same metrics to determine the performance review and have an assessment of the employees in the healthcare treatment, management and care delivery systems. This shall help the health and wellness manager to use and train his human resources according to the standards required and efficient use of the available resources.
