Prognosis for rheumatoid arthritis
Answer : Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints including those in the hands and feet. A person's prognosis depends on many factors including such as age, disease progression, any complications and lifestyle factors . Eventhough it is difficult to cure completely , there are many things which help the patients to improve .That is 1) Early detection : Finding the disease in early stage helps to start treatment immediately and control the progression .Patient shows improvement within short-period of time . 2)Treatment : Taking appropriate medications also the important factor for controlling progression of the disease . Besides, patient feel more comfortable when the take pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs . 3)Lifestyle changes : Eating healthy diet and adopt an exercise regimen (eventhough patient can do minimal exercise according to their comfort) . Avoid consumption of alcohol and smoking also the important factor for preventing the disease. 4) psychological support : Rheumatoid arthritis patient may irritable due to pain so family members have to understanding them and help them for their routines.
