Its really quite complex to be able to handle multiple projects at a time as it brings in several schedules, assets, resources etc. that to integrated within themselves. As we all know that there have been several tools & techniques in place to handle the single project task and its complete lifecycle. However, handling multiples projects has not been so old and there are still several hurdles in place in order to be able to handle multiple projects at a times in the multi handling project environment. There have been heuristics which are available but are quite limited to the applications. As long as the recent observations are concerned all the traditional project management tools and techniques are the once, mostly attempted for scheduling. However, the use of heuristics along with a well framed algorithm-based scheduling for the environment which are meant for multi project handling, which results in the make span of the project and assures the success of the same. However, its not so old, but neither so new as this has been validated & tested on several occasion earlier with several numerical examples and guess what it was always found competent enough.
