● Concrete repair is the process of fixing a hardened concrete that lost the property of binding in concrete materials becuase of damage or environmental exposures. It includes cracks, physical impacts, chipped out surfaces or surface scaling.

● The maintenance of the concrete is done to meet some objectives like

1. Prevention of damages due to natural agencies.
2. To keep them in good appearance and working condition.

● Reason of repair is to prevent concrete from pattern cracking, surface scaling or spalling, and shrinkage cracking.

● Injections of repairs can be defined as the method of repairs in which a paste or slurry is filled with pressure to the cracks or surfaces which we want to repair. Sometimes it also called Grouting or guniting.

● Methods of concrete repair

1)Epoxy injection, 2) Routing and Sealing, 3) grouting, stitching, drilling and plugging,. 4) gravity filling of cracks.

● Preventive maintenance are Activities which includes inspection and works necessary to fulfill the intended function or to sustain the original standard of service.
