Why do the media sometimes distort information about an agency? How can you develop a relationship with the media that will minimize that tendency?
The role of media is very important in the society because individuals trust the media and rely on them to understand the situation that is going on in the world and therefore it is the duty of media to actually display and express unbiased news about an incident and the news should not biased based on any factor but there have been instances where the media distort information about an agency either because they are biased based on a political belief or they want to make the news attractive and in the process they tweak few different facts about the issue to make it different and unique from whatever their competitors collected. In order to minimize such a tendency it is better to provide all the information to media and document the same so that media cannot tweak any facts and statements made because ta present media generally change the news because that is convenient and profitable for them to do business.
