Some tech trends fizzle out and die a quiet death while some are so significant that they transform our world and how we live in it. Some global technology trends are

a) Increasing datafication of our lives : From chatting to friends in a messaging app to tapping on and out with an oyster card, today almost everything we do leaves a trail of data breadcrumbs. And this increasing datafication of our world has led to an unprecedented explosion in data.

b) The internet of things (Iot) and how everyday devices are becoming more smart.

c) exponential growth in computing power is fuelling massive tech advances.

d) The incredible rise of artificial intelligence.

e) 3D printing opens up amazing opportunities for manufacturer and others.

f) Blockchains

The top three technology trends in business today are:

Blockchain : A very practical way to storing authenticating and protecting data.

Artificial Intelligence : Computers are now able to learn in much the same way as we humans do and this leap in human capabilities has been made possible by the massive increase in automation and computing power.

Technologies i would want to incorporate in my busieness are:

i) Block chain: Privacy of the data of my customer is my foremost duty. With this technology i can secure that data.

ii) Artificial Intelligence : The computers can take more and more human works. Since computers work diligently chance of fatigue does not arises.

iii) The internet of things (IoT).

Any other trend which would impact business (mainly for those who are connected to manufacturing ) is the 3D printing technology. With 3D printing far more complex Shapes can be created than in traditional printing and using less material too. It also allows for much better customisation of products without worrying about economies of scale.

Swot Analysis of these trends:

Strength : Fully automatic, times saving and user friendly.

Weakness: large landmasses still do not have the facility of internet. Reaching too them will be a challenge.

Opportunities: In this world where privacy of data is of utmost importance. If we can securely protect and secure the data we can have the competition edge.

Threats : Artificial intelligence can lead to unemployment. majority of the task will be handled by computers which in turn could create unemployment and dissatisfaction among the masses.
