1. Technological Advancement of other source of energy, 2.Environmental climate change in canada , 3.Changes in the economic situation can contribute to buying decision of the consumer .How they are THREAT to the SOLAR PANEL INDUSTRY in canada

Solutions

Expert Solution

1. Technological advancement of other sources of energy such as of hydro sector, wind energy, and nuclear energy may make these sources of energy cheaper, efficient and more reliable leading to gradual elimination of solar energy as viable source of energy which in turn would threaten solar panel industry in Canada.

2. Environmental climate change in Canada may not be a huge threat to the solar panel industry in the country unless manufacturing of the solar panels involved large scale pollution.

3. Changes in the economic situation can also impact buying decision of the consumers. With increase in income people may want a constant and reliable source of power. Canada is not very famous for getting sunshine for most parts of the year which may help more generation of reliable power. Solar panel manufacturers may also find it very difficult to compete with the solar panel imports from China at much cheaper rates.
