The changes in climate and their impact will be differing from one region to another. Effects include increase in temperature, increase in the sea levels, changes in precipitation, desert expansion, as well as warming. It is expected that warming would be greater in areas of land, as compared to the oceans. The other changes include heavy snowfall, ocean acidification, heat waves as well as droughts, and shifts in temperature regimes. The effects that would be observed in humans include Food security threats, or decrease in crop yields as a result of rise in sea levels.
